The first Always and Forever Con celebrated the 10-year anniversary of The Originals. While still including Vampire Diaries and Legacies as part of the celebration, it was hosted in the actual city of Conyers where some of the show was filmed. We had 43 guests, including the first and only time all the Mikaelsons have appeared at one convention. This was also the first time Nathan Parsons or Chris Wood had appeared at a convention in over 7 years. We were also joined by those with the true stories about what happened! Showrunners Julie Plec and Carina Adly McKenzie, director Geoff Shotz, and stuntmen Dave Morisot and Jeremy Connor. The event was held within Olde Town Conyers, which, on screen, portrayed New Orleans. We even brought a touch of Roswell, NM to Georgia with the first-ever con event celebrating this other great CW show. With special events like a Mardi Gras party and parade, it was an event like you had never experienced and pure magic!
Comic-cons and fan conventions—where fans go to meet actors and celebrate the shows they love—are not new, but usually, these are held in a random hotel ballroom or a cold convention center with no actual association to the show. Mostly at other events, all you can do is take a photo or get an autograph. While you can get those here, we think the kind of experience a true fan deserves is a bit more. That’s where we come in!
At Always and Forever Con and SuperFANtastic Conventions specialize in fan conventions and experiences that are next level. Our special events are unmatched and the kind of moments that you will remember forever. We’ve gone bowling, played Cards Against Humanity, and brought in an entire carnival, letting you play games and go on the rides with the talent. We host wellness events that not only make you happy but also touch your mind, body, and soul. We have straight up turned you into superheroes! We believe that the experience should represent your love for the guests we have and the shows you adore. Sure, you can take a photo, and you will, but shouldn’t that photo represent a memory that will last forever? If excitement, adventure, and something beyond the ordinary is what you are looking for, then you should join us for our next event…
Any of our events referred to as conventions are larger events. Our guest lists usually exceed 20 guests and typically range from 30 to 40 or more. Expect larger panels, and while we will still have some of our signature special event experiences— the kind we are known for and the kind you can’t get anywhere else— it’s more of a mainstream convention intermixed with special events, but for a larger audience. Though we promise it will be unmatched in experience, and we will make sure you leave wondering how you ever went to just a “normal con”, we are more limited on what we can do at these. These are focused more on larger guest lists and photo op combinations you won’t be able to get at other conventions. We were the first and still the only convention to have all the Mikealsons in one place and the only one where you could get the iconic Polaroid photo with you in it from the show. If you love the hussle and bussle of a larger con crowd and special events in bigger groups this is the experience for you. Though we do have top tier VIP passes that will give you things like concierge service and seating even ON stage at the panels overall these also tend to be more affordable. These have general admission weekend and even day passes and we have lots of volunteer opportunities at these for those looking to come be a part of the event while limiting costs. Our next larger scale Always and Forever Con will be happening in 2025. Then, there’s our Friends and Family Reunions! These are intimate handcrafted experiences for those who are looking for something far beyond the ordinary. Those who crave the extraordinary. Those looking for something, dare we say, beyond epic. These gatherings are intentionally smaller in size, packed with extra focus and time devoted to special experiences, and less emphasis on the traditional photo ops or autographs. Don’t misunderstand, you will get that photo and that autograph, but it will have the most amazing story attached to it your friends might just not believe you. Picture this: you’re in an intimate setting, surrounded by a close-knit group, and the adventures awaiting you are unlike anything else in the fan convention world. While these are unmatched by any other convention or fan experience company due to the nature of what you are doing and who you are doing it with, these are typically at a higher price point than our more traditional (or at least as traditional as we get anyway) conventions. Our volunteer opportunities are typically far more limited for these events due to how small they are. Prepare for unparalleled creativity and the chance to get up close and personal with all your favorites in a way that’s simply unforgettable and beyond anything you’ve ever done or been able to dream of!
